Mount Lavinia has a particular light in the evening - the sun sets almost straight out over the water - and the whole property is built around catching that from as many angles as possible: A/C rooms for the heat of the day, non-A/C rooms that let the sea breeze in, and a restaurant that climbs three floors toward the sky so the view gets better the higher you go.
